Amy Baxter MD FAAP FACEP is founder and CEO of Pain Care Labs, founded in 2006 with the mission to eliminate unnecessary pain. She invented and patented VibraCool® Vibrational Cryotherapy to treat tendinopathies and decrease opioid use, and her disruptive Buzzy® device has been used to control needle pain for over 32 million needle procedures. To date, her Oscillice technology has been confirmed in 24 RCTs, and was named "Industry Leader in Noninvasive Pain relief by Frost & Sullivan. Pain Care Labs' new DuoThermCare Vibrating Low Back Pain device is the first to combat opioid use by combining 6 drug free pain relief methods.

To develop her neuromodulation pain reduction platform, Dr. Baxter was awarded a 1.1MM Fast-Track SBIR by the NIH. She wrote the patents for cooling and vibration utilization to decrease pain, and prepared and filed the FDA 510K submission for medical devices, securing the FDA expansion of the utilization to include muscle pain and cosmetic injection pain control. There is a registration fee for this event to cover administrative costs. For this dinner, Georgia Bio will be purchasing pizza for attendees. All attendees are responsible for the cost of their own drinks.
