Together the two companies employ 1,000 professionals in our state.
The Summit also will provide you with a chance to welcome Baxter Healthcare’s Brien Johnson, Vice President, Program Manager, Plasma Bioscience, and learn first-hand the full impact of Baxter’s decision to build a $1 billion biomanufacturing plant in our state with 1,500 employees.
In addition, more than 70 speakers, including senior executives and scientists from multi-national corporations, universities and emerging companies, will explore trends and issues in 12 panel sessions throughout the day focused on medical technology and devices; changing landscape of the pharmaceutical industry; therapeutics, diagnostics and vaccines; and new and exciting science at Georgia’s universities.
