Just ten years ago, very few companies were willing to consider something like climate change as a strategic issue, let alone a driving strategy. Yet, an increasing number of companies, including many top global brands, are coming to terms with the world that is emerging and finding ways to make a difference—and boost their bottom line—through sustainable innovation. But as Stephen Leonard of The Guardian describes “[it is no] longer a practice done for legal or charitable reasons, it’s a growth strategy.”
EcoChem is the meeting place for critical and commercial conversations among all chemical value chain players, from chemical manufacturers’ senior executives, to consumer facing and B2B brand-owners, to policy makers, to chemists, academics, technicians, engineers and many more. The event will return the 11th of November 2014 to provide 3 days of talks around value creation strategies, international perspectives, leading and new technologies, data & statistical updates, new sustainability reports in the industry, SMEs and exciting start-ups, and much more.
New this year!
The Sustainable Technologies Seminar programme (STS programme) will address the most pressing issues around the creation of a ‘greener’ value chain; enhanced performance polymers, novel catalytic processes, sustainable processes for custom manufacturing, separation technologies for extracting components from reaction systems, next generation feedstocks, the extraction and use of high performance materials from renewable resources, new product developments, and much more. Presentations will be limited to companies with leading, breakthrough or efficiency improving technologies, so as to address these challenges. There is very limited space on this seminar, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about participating.
EcoChem are proud to announce some of the confirmed STS presenters:
