The official name of the show is the 2014 Georgia Bio Innovation Summit. Previously the event was called the Georgia Life Sciences Summit.

How many years has the Georgia Bio Innovation Summit run?
2014 will be the 13th Annual Summit. The only year the conference did not take place was in 2009 when the 2009 Biotechnology Industry Organization held its annual International Convention of which Georgia Bio was a local host.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations received by August 14, 2014 will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. After that date, no refunds will be awarded. All cancellations must be sent in writing to the Conference Secretariat, Kristen Morris at firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events or early departure.
Georgia Bio is not responsible for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by participants in the event of conference or registration cancellation.
Please note, in the event that the 2014 Georgia Bio Innovation Summit is abbreviated or canceled because of circumstances beyond Georgia Bio’s control including, but not limited to, civil disturbance, earthquake, electrical outage, explosion, fire, freight embargo, strike or labor unrest, flood, hurricane, tornado, or other acts of God, an act of war, terrorism, or the act of any government (de facto or de jure), or any government agency or official, Georgia Bio reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to unilaterally terminate the conference. In these circumstances, the registrant expressly agrees to waive any claim he, she may have against Georgia Bio for damages or compensation, including but not limited to fees for registration, housing, airfare and/or incidental charges.
I am with the media/press. Do I still need to register? Do I have to pay?
Yes, please register but your registration is free.
Complimentary registration is available for credentialed members of the news media.
Do students and teachers get a discount?
Yes! Your registration is deeply discounted - please visit the registration page for details. But remember YOU MUST PRESENT YOUR IDENTIFICATION UPON CHECK IN TO RECEIVE YOUR BADGE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL JEOPARDIZE YOUR REGISTRATION.
Will speaker presentations be available after the conference?
Keynote address presentations may be available online at the Summit website within 48 hours of the conference. This is if the presenter approves their distribution.
