Georgia Bio is the state affiliate of the Washington, D.C.-based Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). In 2009, Georgia Bio will be the local host with BIO for the largest biotechnology conference in the world, the 2009 BIO International Convention in Atlanta, May 17 - 20, 2009.

Non-Profit & Government Organizations
This category is for any not-for-profit educational, governmental or other organization that conducts research, education, provides patent licensing, research grants or other products or services to biotech, device or life-science related companies. Membership investment is based on the size of the organization:
Individuals & Students
Individual Membership is open only to individuals whose occupational affiliation is NOT associated with or conducts business with, the life science industry. Anyone who wishes to join as an individual must contact GaBio directly to apply.
Students at any level may join GaBio as noted below. Students should note that if their school is already a member of GaBio then they are already a member through the school’s membership. Visit the Membership Directory to see if your school is a member. Please email maria.thacker@gabio.org, to be added to the school’s account.
