Georgia Bio is pleased to offer Professional and Leadership Development workshops to our member organizations.  The first two workshops will be:

Power to Influence

Power to Influence is for professional staff through senior leadership. The highly interactive workshop provides skills and techniques to immediately apply. The program uses various approaches, feedback, use of power and different styles, with a unique influence model and practice sessions to build skills.

Participants learn techniques to deal with various situations.  Influence is one of the most critical skills for success within organizations to a manager, peer/matrix, or project team.



Participants who complete this program will be better able to:

<  Analyze influence situations and choose the appropriate influence approach

<  Use three levels of power to increase influence

<  Apply influence strategy skills to key situations: Meetings, Decisions, Recommendations, Escalations


Key Content:

<  Influence Model including persuasion and listening techniques

<  Commitment, Compliance and Resistance

<  Understand style impact, best approach and potential “stress” reactions

<  Optional Post Program Survey with 360° web-based multi-rater feedback on current skills, relationships, influence and power use
