| Description: | An expert panel will be available to answer your questions about the Therapeutic Discovery Project Credit. As part of the new health care reform law, this tax credit program was created to encourage investments in new therapies by small biotech companies. This new provision creates a unique opportunity for companies without tax liability to exchange their credits to the U.S. Treasury Department for a grant. Companies in a loss position will be able to receive funds immediately. The 2-year program is limited to a total of $1 Billion and companies should be prepared to apply as soon as the guidelines are published May 21.
