| Description: | University investigators and industry executives have been searching for a place to answer their questions on how to collaborate and translate lab bench discoveries into bedside medicines and medical devices. Learn the best strategies for success on February 3, 2010, at the Emory Conference Center, from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm, when the Atlanta Clinical & Translational Science Institute (ACTSI), and Georgia Bio host a half-day meeting, titled Academic & Industry Intersection: Accessing Partners.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
 The program will feature a keynote address from Dennis W. Choi, MD, PhD, Vice President for Academic Health Affairs at Woodruff Health Sciences Center. Renowned for his groundbreaking research on brain and spinal cord injury he joined Emory University in 2007 as Executive Director for the Comprehensive Neurosciences Initiative at Emory University. WHAT WILL BE DISCUSSED?

In addition, the university and industry representatives will discuss what each has to offer throughout the afternoon with table-top displays in an exhibit area of the conference center.
