Tom O’Brien/ President and Chief Executive Officer of Axion BioSystems
Tom O’Brien is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Axion Biosystems, a company he co-founded in 2008. The company is based on technology licensed from Georgia Tech, and develops products for the life science market focused on neuroscience. Prior to Axion, he was a senior executive at Philips Medical Systems, a division of Royal Philips, after the sale of Intermagnetics General Corporation (NASDAQ: IMGC). At Intermagnetics, he held the role of Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and President, Invivo Medical Devices. During his career, he has held various senior executive positions in both public and private companies, in the U.S. and abroad. Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree with highest honors in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

This dinner is not intended to be an opportunity for service providers to make sales to other attendees or the featured professional at the dinner. Any attempts at making a sale during the dinner will be highly discouraged onsite and may results in the person being asked to leave.
