Join us in Athens, GA this month for a discussion on Quality Control in Shipping: A Rising Requirement.

Is your startup practicing “Best Shipping Practices”? Temperature fluctuations can dramatically impact a product’s performance, and security is an ever-growing concern. Increasingly, regulatory agencies are extending their gaze beyond GMP manufacturing and storage facilities to the journey in between. Whether your company is sending materials to be used in clinical trials or simply to an important new customer, quality assurance during transportation can’t be taken for granted.

Karl Kussow, Manager of Quality and Validation for FedEx Custom Critical, will discuss issues surrounding the shipping of sensitive materials such as chemical and bio-pharmaceutical products. What issues do startups need to be aware of? What solutions exist to the challenge of temperature control in distribution? Karl will present shipping best practices for sending large product batches to collaborators or just a few blister packs destined for clinical trials across the globe.

Charlie Moss, FedEx Custom Critical Corporate Account Manager, and Rob King, FedEx Custom Critical Division Sales Manager, will also be joining us for the discussion.
Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Tina Christie at tina@uga.edu
