Advocacy
Georgia Bio's mission is to foster an environment in which life sciences companies can succeed in Georgia . One way in which GaBio achieves this is by advocating on behalf of the industry on public policy matters.
To assist in this mission the GaBio Government Affairs Committee was established. This committee's mission is to identify public policy issues of significance to Georgia Bio (GaBio) members and develop position statements and advocacy strategies. The committee also develops forums and programs aimed at educating GaBio members, government officials and the general public about bioscience issues.
