Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee mission is to identify public policy issues of significance to Georgia Bio (GaBio) members and develop position statements and advocacy strategies. The committee also develops forums and programs aimed at educating GaBio members, government officials and the general public about bioscience issues.

In addition, the committee develops the Georgia Bio legislative agenda, strategies for working with other life sciences stakeholders on public policy issues, such as the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and Biosciences Council of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, in advocating public policy positions.
