Education and Workforce Development Committee
Georgia Bio initiated an education and workforce development program in January of 2007 through a partnership with the DeKalb County Schools System, the Biotechnology Institute and Georgia Bio to improve student achievement in science. Through the initial activities of this partnership and subsequent planning with educators and related organizations, Georgia Bio has launched a strategic initiative in education and workforce development. This initiative is overseen by a newly formed committee, the Education and Workforce Development Committee.
